Whats next?

So today was an ok day at work. Nothing "bad" happened...it was just another day that I really didn't want to be there. Although, a couple of good things did happen. I finally worked up the courage (or more likely, God gave me the courage) to talk to my supervisor about my work schedule. I hadn't heard back from either of my bosses on if I am still working 9 or 8 hour days. When I asked, I was given an answer of "my preference is for you to work 7a.m. - 4p.m., but with the intention of staying until 5 if we are short handed or there is other work to be done".  Of which I replied, "most definitely, I would be happy to do that". My supervisor also sent an email to our manager and got the "OK", so there is a paper trail, which is good.

Also, at the end of the day as I was heading out the door to come home, my supervisor told me "great job today, I appreciate your hard work". That was really nice to hear, in light of everything that has happened recently.

I can't remember if I have said or not, but I have applied for a different job. It is an IT job, but I definitely do not qualify for it (it is a developer / programming position for .NET programming). I have been trying to teach myself some of it, but it is very difficult with the limited time I have. I am hoping and praying that something works out - that maybe they would be willing to give me time to learn, because I know it's a job I can definitely learn and do...it would just take time, of which I don't know if they are willing to wait on.

I have also been having thoughts of writing - not writing in a blog, but more of writing a book. I'm not sure of what, so I don't even know where I would begin. Also, with the arm and hand pain I experience regularilly, the thought of sitting at a computer and typing for hours on end to write a book makes me cringe (sitting at a computer and typing or using the mouse makes the pain a lot worse). Although, if it is the Lord's will, then let it be done.

I am still having severe arm and neck pain (mostly my arm and hand lately) on my right side - Today was a very bad day for that. My neurologist office called yesterday, but I haven't had a chance to call them back yet. They want to do more testing, of which I can't afford right now. I may just have to suffer with the pain until next year, and then have more testing done.

My brother and I are going to watch The Expendables this Friday night, so that will be fun. It will be nice to have a relaxing movie night - I haven't been able to do that in a while.

Above all this, I know that without Jesus in my life I would be nothing. God has laid so many blessings upon me, and I am thankful for that.
